Tasty Food Saved My Weekend

On last Saturday, I finally had time to visit one of my favorite tourist place, 奮起湖, again. At first, everything was fine and I couldn’t wait to visit there. In the morning, I suddenly started to miss one breakfast restaurant which I usually visit when I was in high school. After 30mins of commute, the eye-catching signboard “呷尚堡” came into my eyes. Despite the fact that my appetite has lost control for a while, a table of tasty meals still showed up in front of me. I thought everything would go smoothly and I could take lots of photos of 奮起湖 later.
However, the uncertain weather frustrated me. As soon as rode into the mountain, an enormous rain suddenly appeared. Since there was no any shelter or tree, I was forced to went back to the city to wear my raincoat. Ironically, the heavy rain suddenly stops after I finally put on my raincoat. My sweaty cloths and motorbike looked like a joke to the pedestrians. Been dog-tired, I went home and swore that I will always check the weather forecast before going out.
To satisfy my mood, I went to the breakfast restaurant and famous ice shop at the next day. Pleasing view, gentle breeze and tasty meals, the breakfast shop “曉品屋” really satisfied my mood. The mango shaved ice and bubble tea flavor snowflake ice in the famous ice shop “打貓冰果室” are also delicious. Don’t you think having snowflake ice in the scorching season is a great enjoyment? In general, encountering heavy rain was indeed frustrating, but the enjoyment of pleasing view and refreshing snowflake ice saved my weekend successfully.
I am wondering how did you take these photos, because the foods you put on your website look so delicious! Besides, it was such a coincidence that I’ve been to the first breakfast restaurant that you mentioned in your journal before. While, that restaurant was located in Taipei, and was across my high school, so in that time, I often bought the foods there to start a new day of my high school life. And when I’m reading your journal, I can recall my memory in my high school, and also to have some lists for me to eat in the future. Maybe you can recommend more restaurant to me haha!

I read this at 11 p.m., which is a really bad decision because those pictures of delicious food made me really hungry, especially the snowflake ice. I feel sorry that your plan was ruined by the rain. Hope you’ll have a better luck next time. Although I’ve visited 阿里山 many times with my family, I can’t remember if I ever been to 奮起湖. Maybe I will go there after the final exams to relax.
The food in your picture looks delicious! I have eaten the bubble tea flavor snowflake ice in the hot day before! It's really tasty and cool me off. I also have been to 奮起湖 when I was small. However, I couldn't recall the view there. By the way, it's pity that the bad weather stopped your trip. But you still have chance to visit 奮起湖 in the future~
